“An evil mismanagement” – seizure of power and Gleichschaltung in Radolfzell
Lecture by Sebastian Hausendorf
In his lecture, historian Sebastian Hausendorf sheds light on the first three years of National Socialist rule in Radolfzell. The focus will be on the seizure of power and the synchronization of the town hall, from the head of the town to the municipal parliaments and the town administration. In particular, the regime of Mayor Eugen Speer, a convinced and professionally incompetent “old fighter”, will be explained in more detail.
