Guided tour of “Between success and persecution”
On Wednesday, 17.09.2025, museum educator Jacqueline Berl will be offering a guided tour of the traveling exhibition “Between Success and Persecution – Jewish Stars in German Sport until 1933 and After” at 4.30 pm, which can be seen in front of the seemaxx. The tour uses a number of biographies to illustrate the major role played by Jewish athletes in the development of modern sport in Germany. As Jews, they were ostracized, disenfranchised, forced to flee or murdered in the Nazi state. Afterwards, participants will take part in a short guided tour of the Radolfzell City Museum to look at the significance of sport and the cult of the body under National Socialism. The event ends at 18:00. Venue: The event starts in Sankt-Johannisstr. between Hadwigstraße and seemaxx Outlet Center and ends at the Radolfzell City Museum
