Play like in the Middle Ages
Summer holiday program with Monika Leister
Time to play? – In the Middle Ages, many children had little time to play. And when they did, how? And with what? Were there balls, how could you learn to swim? What did the toys look like? The painting “Children’s Games” by the Dutch painter Pieter Bruegel the Elder from 1560 shows us which games were known at the time and how we can play them today. Have fun exploring and trying them out!
For children aged 8 and over.
Fee: € 10.00, free of charge with Zeller Karte
