Want to copy a few pages from a book? Just head over to the copier and you’re done! But:

How did people manage without a photocopier? And the illustrations have to be included too, right? An introduction to the history of book writing and illumination shows us just how laborious writing was in the Middle Ages. Using fountain pens and nibs, we’ll try out various old scripts and create ornate initial letters. Children should really enjoy writing to participate in this program!

For children ages 8 and up.
