Guided tour through the city center
With the Reichstag elections in March 1933, the NSDAP became the strongest political force in Radolfzell. This also marked the beginning of the persecution of political opponents. In connection with the construction of the firing ranges for the barracks occupied by SS units in 1938, the town became a satellite camp of Dachau concentration camp. Forced laborers were used in Radolfzell businesses during the war years. The guided tour as part of the Peace Festival follows the traces of those years in the old town of Radolfzell.
