Around the Radolfzell town forest with Gerhard Heizmann, former district forester in Radolfzell Gerhard Heizmann was the district forester responsible for the town of Radolfzell and its forests until 2023. The Radolfzell municipal forest covers an area of around 1,385 hectares. Gerhard Heizmann will tell us about the experiences he has had over the last 34 years. He will talk about major damage events such as the two hurricanes Vivian and Wiebke in 1990, hurricane Lothar in 1999 and recent damage events. He will also discuss the dangers and consequences of climate change that affect the forest.
