With the people of Markolf – 1300 years of village life
Who were these people from the Alemannic settlement, who was Markolf? How long have we known names? What do we know about the people of Markelfingen over the centuries since the first mention? How did the population change? What was it like living together in the village – what moved the people of Markolf?
The lecture aims to find one or more answers to all these questions. Using a wide variety of sources/different source material and small pieces of the puzzle, an attempt will be made to sketch the people who lived (and still live) in Markelfingen.
