Excursion to the island of Reichenau Guided tour of the new permanent exhibition in the MUSEUM REICHENAU with cathedral and treasury

During this guided tour, participants are virtually immersed in the history of the monastery: they learn interesting facts about the architectural history of the three Romanesque churches, the monastery, the poems of the monk Walahfrid Strabo and the so-called St. Gallen monastery plan created on Reichenau. The roots of Reichenau’s monastic history can be seen in the cathedral, the former abbey church. A visit to the newly designed treasury with its valuable relics and ornate altarpieces rounds off the tour.
